FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why choose powder over liquid Cal‑Mag?
Powder costs 50‑70% less per dose, ships with 90% less weight, never expires when dry, takes less storage space, and allows you to adjust concentration based on your water. You're paying for nutrients, not water!
Do I need Cal‑Mag if using tap water?
Test your water EC. Below 0.3 EC needs Cal‑Mag. RO/distilled always requires it. Hard water (EC >0.5) may have enough, but test to be sure. Get a water report from your utility for calcium/magnesium levels.
Can I use it as a foliar spray?
Yes! Mix 5 ml of stock solution per gallon and spray at dawn/dusk when stomata are open. Great for rapid correction of deficiencies. Avoid hot sun and stop 2 weeks before harvest.
Is it required for coco coir?
Absolutely. Coco binds calcium, creating deficiencies even with tap water. Use Cal‑Mag every watering at 5‑7.5 ml/gal. Pre‑buffer new coco with 10 ml/gal solution before use.
How do I know if my plants need more?
Calcium deficiency: blossom‑end rot, brown spots, tip burn. Magnesium deficiency: yellowing between leaf veins on older leaves. Iron deficiency: yellowing of new growth. Prevention is easier than correction!

Everything came as ordered and will be prepared to grow some of my own food.

Open and leaking

It came quickly as usual, but this time it was open, had absorbed moisture, and was a leaking mess. The shipping container is an envelope, and the envelope was in bad shape. For as much as it costs, you’d think it would be packaged better. This will probably be my last order.

Poor customer service

No getting back to customers when their promised order can't be filled. When placing my order over the phone with the same receptionist I told her its emergency to recieve in the 2 day ship. Waiting and waiting for order 2x now. Called back, receptionist sounds like she could care less about the business in which she should be representing, that's unfortunate. Suggested that the company send out an email when they are not able to fullfill orders when promised. I was told they would take it under consideration, Really! First order didn't arrive, same receptionist placed a replacement order, it never arrived either. So called back for the 3rd time, was told then one of the items was just that day being made. Really, so far I am not one but impressed, still waiting.
