Do I need my own EPA registration to make a pesticide here?
For most pesticides, yes — you (or we, on your behalf in some arrangements) need an EPA Registration Number for the product itself. We hold the EPA Establishment Number, which means our facility is authorized to manufacture registered pesticides. Minimum-risk 25(b) products are exempt from the product registration requirement, though they still need to meet 25(b) criteria. We'll walk you through which path applies on the discovery call.
Can you formulate from scratch, or do I need to bring a formula?
Both. If you bring a finished formula, we'll review it for manufacturability and source the raw materials. If you have a market need but no formula, we can develop one with you — particularly in specialty fertilizer, hydroponic, and mineral amendment categories where we've been formulating for 35+ years.
What's actually included in the per-unit price?
The quote line item covers raw materials, manufacturing labor, in-line QC, primary packaging, labeling, and palletizing FOB Madera. Tooling, custom moulds, art preparation, freight, and any third-party testing are quoted separately and clearly itemized. No hidden surprises.
Can you label in Spanish, French, or for export markets?
Yes — bilingual and multilingual labels are routine. For export, we can produce to the destination country's labeling rules if you provide compliant artwork; we don't write foreign regulatory copy in-house.
What's your typical lead time?
For new programs: roughly 6–10 weeks from a signed agreement to the first pallet, assuming raw materials are in stock and no novel registrations are pending. Reorders against an open program typically ship in 2–4 weeks.
Do you do organic and synthetic on the same lines?
We segregate runs and clean down between them. For OMRI-listable products we can document raw material sourcing and run protocols. If you need a fully dedicated organic-only run, we can quote that separately.
Will you compete with my brand?
Greenway Biotech sells our own branded products in specialty fertilizer and magnesium wellness. We don't sign exclusivity against your category, but we will sign a clear non-compete on your specific formula and any IP you bring. NDA goes out before any technical conversation.
