FEATURES

🎯 Complete Macro & Micronutrient Coverage

All 16 essential plant nutrients delivered across 4 precisely formulated components — no additional supplements needed for most hydroponic crops.

💰 50–70% Cost Savings vs. Liquid Nutrients

Powder concentrates eliminate water weight from shipping. You pay for nutrients, not filler — the same reason commercial greenhouses use dry fertilizers.

🔬 Stage-Specific Nutrient Ratios

Each component plays a distinct role: Cal-Mag and Micro Green feed all stages, while Grow Green (4-2-6) dominates vegetation and Blossom Green (2-6-8) takes over at bloom.

🧪 CDFA Registered — All 4 Products

Every formula in this bundle is registered with the California Department of Food and Agriculture and independently tested for heavy metal content.

💧 Essential Cal-Mag for Coco & RO Water

Cal-Mag Plus 2-0-0 prevents calcium and magnesium deficiencies that are endemic to coco coir and reverse osmosis systems — included in every fill.

🌱 Chelated Iron & 7-Element Micronutrient Blend

Micro Green 2-0-3 supplies all 7 essential trace elements including chelated iron, manganese, zinc, and copper for consistent availability across the full pH range.

🎛️ Independent Component Control

Adjust each product separately to dial in the exact ratio your crop needs — increase Blossom Green for heavier fruit set, or lean harder on Cal-Mag for coco-specific grows.

📦 Makes 400+ Gallons of Nutrient Solution

The complete bundle produces approximately 4 gallons of concentrated stock solution, which dilutes to treat over 400 gallons of finished nutrient solution.

⏰ Extended Shelf Life

Dry powder nutrients last indefinitely when kept sealed and dry — no pH drift, no precipitation, and no expiration concerns common with pre-mixed liquids.

🌍 Made in California — Eco-Friendly Format

Manufactured at our Madera, CA facility. Powder format produces up to 90% less packaging waste and carbon footprint compared to shipping equivalent liquid nutrient volumes.

THE FOUR PRODUCTS
HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS

A 4-Part System Designed Around Growth Stages

Most single-part hydroponic fertilizers are a compromise — fixed ratios that are never quite right for seedlings, peak veg, or late bloom. This 4-part system lets you shift nutrition as your plants shift their demands, matching the ratio to the stage rather than forcing the plant to adapt to a fixed formula.

💧 Cal-Mag Plus — The Foundation

Calcium strengthens cell walls and prevents blossom end rot. Magnesium is the central atom in every chlorophyll molecule. Both are stripped from RO water and rapidly depleted in coco — this product replenishes them every fill.

🔬 Micro Green — Consistent Trace Support

Micronutrient deficiencies are the most common cause of unexplained yield losses. Chelated iron, manganese, zinc, and copper remain plant-available across the 5.5–6.5 pH range where most hydroponic systems operate.

🌱 Grow Green — Vegetative Drive

The 4-2-6 ratio prioritizes nitrogen for rapid leaf and stem development while the elevated potassium builds the vascular infrastructure plants need to support heavy fruit loads later in the cycle.

🌸 Blossom Green — Bloom Conversion

The 2-6-8 ratio shifts the plant's energy from vegetative growth toward flower initiation and fruit fill. Phosphorus supports root development and reproductive tissue while high potassium improves flower density and brix.

Growth Stage Progression

Weeks 1–2 Seedlings and clones: low EC (0.5–0.8), all four components at reduced rates
Weeks 3–6 Vegetative phase: Grow Green increasing, Cal-Mag and Micro Green steady
Weeks 7–8 Transition: equal parts all four as the plant shifts from vegetative to reproductive
Weeks 9–13 Bloom phase: Blossom Green increasing, Grow Green reducing to zero at peak bloom
Week 14+ Late bloom / flush: all rates reduced, clean water flushes every 5–7 days

Exact timing varies by crop species, light intensity, and growing environment. Use EC readings as your primary guide, not calendar weeks alone.

Stock Solution Preparation (Concentrate Method)

Product Package Size Dissolve In Yields Concentrate Ratio
Cal-Mag Plus 2-0-0 2.5 lbs 1 gallon water 1 gal concentrate Add 1 ml per gallon at 1:1000
Grow Green 4-2-6 1.7 lbs 1 gallon water 1 gal concentrate Add 1 ml per gallon at 1:1000
Blossom Green 2-6-8 1.8 lbs 1 gallon water 1 gal concentrate Add 1 ml per gallon at 1:1000
Micro Green 2-0-3 1.5 lbs 1 gallon water 1 gal concentrate Add 1 ml per gallon at 1:1000
⚠️ Never mix concentrates directly together. Always add each concentrate separately to a reservoir already filled with water. Adding concentrates to each other causes precipitation and permanent nutrient lockout.
HOW TO USE

Step 1 — Prepare Your Stock Solutions

  1. Label four clean containers (1 gallon each).
  2. Fill each with 1 gallon of water (RO or tap — both work for concentrates).
  3. Dissolve each package separately: Cal-Mag Plus in container 1, Grow Green in container 2, Blossom Green in container 3, Micro Green in container 4.
  4. Stir or shake until fully dissolved. Store sealed in a cool, dark location.

Step 2 — Mix Your Reservoir

  1. Fill your reservoir with fresh water.
  2. Add Cal-Mag Plus concentrate first — always. Stir well.
  3. Add Micro Green concentrate second. Stir well.
  4. Add Grow Green concentrate (vegetative and transition stages).
  5. Add Blossom Green concentrate (transition and bloom stages).
  6. Check EC/TDS. Adjust volume if needed to hit your target.
  7. Adjust pH last — target 5.5–6.5 for most crops.

Step 3 — Ongoing Maintenance

  1. Top off with plain pH-adjusted water between reservoir changes to maintain EC.
  2. Do a full reservoir change every 7–14 days to prevent salt accumulation.
  3. Check EC and pH daily — small daily adjustments are easier than large corrections.
  4. Perform a plain-water flush at the end of bloom to clear residual salts before harvest.

Maintaining a healthy hydroponic system requires monitoring root health alongside nutrient balance. Read our guide on preventing and treating hydroponic root rot for best practices that pair well with this bundle.

Pro Tip: Start Low, Dial Up

If you're new to this system, start at the "Early Vegetative" rates even if your plants are larger. It's much easier to correct a slightly underfed plant than to flush salt damage. Increase rates by 25% per reservoir change until you hit your target EC range for the stage.

When This System Is the Right Choice

  • You're growing in a recirculating hydroponic system (DWC, NFT, ebb & flow, aeroponics)
  • You use coco coir as your growing media — Cal-Mag inclusion is essential
  • You use reverse osmosis or softened water
  • You want individual control over each nutrient fraction by growth stage
  • You're growing multiple crop types and need flexibility to adjust ratios by plant

When to Consider Other Options

  • If you're growing in native soil with a full nutrient profile, our organic meal fertilizers may be better suited
  • If you want a single-part hydroponic solution optimized for one specific crop, see our Tomato 4-18-38, Lettuce 8-15-36, or Strawberry 8-12-32 formulas
  • If your water source already has high calcium and magnesium (EC above 0.4), consider reducing Cal-Mag Plus rates and monitoring closely

SAFETY & HANDLING
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Wear gloves when handling dry powder concentrates — all four products can cause skin irritation with prolonged contact
  • Wear eye protection when pouring or dissolving powders to prevent dust contact
  • Mix in well-ventilated areas and avoid inhaling fine dust particles
  • Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling any component
Storage Guidelines
  • Store all four products in original sealed containers in a cool, dry location
  • Keep out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources above 90°F
  • All components are hygroscopic — exposure to humidity will cause clumping. A clumped product is still usable; break up clumps before measuring
  • Store prepared concentrates in labeled, sealed containers away from children and pets
  • Do not store prepared concentrates for more than 6 months
Application Precautions
  • Always add Cal-Mag Plus to the reservoir first — adding it after other nutrients can cause calcium-phosphate precipitation
  • Never pour concentrates directly into each other — always dilute into water separately
  • Do not apply at rates significantly above those recommended in the feeding schedule — over-application causes salt toxicity and cannot be reversed without a full flush
  • When mixing stock solutions, use water temperatures between 60–80°F for best powder dissolution
First Aid
  • Eye contact: Flush immediately with clean water for 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation persists
  • Skin contact: Wash affected area thoroughly with soap and water
  • Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Contact Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222 or seek medical attention immediately
  • Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Seek medical attention if coughing or difficulty breathing persists

COMPLETE YOUR SYSTEM
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What order do I add the concentrates to my reservoir?

Always add Cal-Mag Plus first, then Micro Green, then Grow Green, then Blossom Green. Adding Cal-Mag before phosphorus-containing nutrients prevents calcium-phosphate precipitation, which can permanently lock out nutrients. Always add each concentrate to water that is already in the reservoir — never pour concentrates directly onto each other.

Can I use this bundle in coco coir?

Yes — and coco coir growers benefit especially from this bundle because coco has a natural cation exchange capacity that binds calcium and magnesium. The Cal-Mag Plus component compensates for this directly. Run Cal-Mag Plus at the higher end of the recommended range (7.5–10 ml/gallon) during vegetative and bloom stages when growing in coco.

What EC and pH should I target?

Target pH 5.5–6.5 for most hydroponic crops, with the lower end (5.5–6.0) preferred for fruiting crops and the upper end (6.0–6.5) acceptable for leafy greens. EC targets are stage-dependent: 0.5–0.8 for seedlings, 1.0–1.8 during vegetative growth, and 1.8–2.5 during bloom. Always measure EC before and after adding each component and adjust water volume rather than nutrient rates if your EC is high.

Do I use all four products at every stage?

Cal-Mag Plus and Micro Green are used at every stage from seedling through flush. Grow Green is used during vegetative and transition stages and is reduced to zero at peak bloom. Blossom Green begins at low rates during vegetative growth and increases substantially from transition through late bloom. During the final flush, all nutrient rates are reduced significantly and plain water flushes are alternated with dilute nutrient fills.

How long will the bundle last?

The full bundle is formulated to produce approximately 4 gallons of concentrated stock solution total, which treats roughly 400 gallons of finished nutrient solution at mid-range rates. Actual duration depends heavily on reservoir size, change frequency, and which growth stages you're in — vegetative stages use more Grow Green, while bloom stages shift consumption toward Blossom Green. Growers with 10–20 gallon reservoirs on weekly changes typically get 2–4 complete grow cycles per bundle.

Can I buy the individual products separately if I run out of one component?

Yes — all four products are available individually: Cal-Mag Plus 2-0-0, Grow Green 4-2-6, Blossom Green 2-6-8, and Micro Green 2-0-3. Because Blossom Green is used at higher rates during bloom, it is often the first component to run low in a full cycle.

How do I keep my hydroponic system healthy between nutrient changes?

Maintaining a healthy hydroponic system requires monitoring root health alongside nutrient balance. Read our guide on preventing and treating hydroponic root rot for best practices that pair well with this bundle.
