Bone Meal 3-15-0 FAQ

1. How often should I apply Bone Meal to my roses?

Roses need more phosphorous compared to other plants and Bone Meal is a natural source of phosphorous.

Greenway Biotech, Inc. Bone Meal contains 15% phosphorous and because Bone Meal is slow to work through the soil we recommend adding it to your soil at planting time or at the beginning of a new season.

The best way to determine if you need more Bone Meal is through soil test but if that's not available or cost effective then I recommend monitoring the leaves of your rose plants for phosphorous deficiency signs and add more Bone Meal if you see any phosphorous deficiency signs.

2. How many cups in 1 pound of Bone Meal?

One cup of Greenway Biotech, Inc. Bone Meal weighs about 0.6 pounds. So 1 Pound of our Bone Meal fertilizer would be slightly less than 2 cups.

This is a very good way to keep squirrels out of our garden since Bone Meal is a great fertilizer for your plants and it also keeps squirrels out of your garden so it's a double win.
